The classic rules for polo on real horses are:

2 teams
A goal is scored by hitting the ball between the goalposts.
A game is divided into intervals of 7½ minutes called 'chukkas'. There are between 4 by ASTRUP® 8 intervals per game.
As polo is played at a gallop, the horses are changed between the intervals.
