Lyngby Porcelæn

Lyngby Porcelæn was founded in 1936 and quickly developed into one of Denmark's leading porcelain brands. With a clear focus on functionality and aesthetics, the brand has focussed on minimalist design from the very beginning, inspired by the Bauhaus style and Scandinavian functionalism. Lyngby Porcelæn's best-known design is probably the iconic Lyngby vase with its striking vertical grooves. It broke with the opulent porcelain decorations that were common at the time and set new standards for modern Danish design.

Following the closure of the factory in 1969, the brand was revitalised in 2012, bringing back many of the classic designs in a new interpretation. Today, in addition to the famous vase, the range also includes collections such as Rhombe and Tura, which combine traditional craftsmanship with modern Scandinavian style.
