Peace begins with very small, everyday actions: A hello, a smile, a hug can bring peace. Looking at each other and pronouncing a friend's name correctly - it can be that simple to find peace. Peace needs courage, but also gives security. Thanks to peace, even the smallest people can have their say. Peace starts small, but it can make big things happen. Miranda and Baptiste Paul have written "Peace," their first picture book together for NordSüd. This hymn to peace is a very personal concern for them. Estelí Meza based the illustrations on the warm colors of Mexico. She illustrated the story during the lockdown in Mexico City and was inspired by the positive messages in the story. "Peace" (along with another picture book not published by NordSüd) is her debut in the U.S. and Europe.
